Terra has worked with children and families, for the past 20 years, as they transition through foster care, adoption, and divorce. She has extensive experience working with issues such as grief and loss, attachment disruption, anxiety, trauma and impacts on brain development.  In her clinical practice, she works with families navigating diagnoses such as FASD, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and ADHD.  

Terra provides clinical consultation to the McMan and the Central Zone, facilitates the Adoption Preparation Course for CFSA, and works closely with the International adoption community through the Alberta Children’s Hospital Adoption Clinic. Terra began her career as a supervisor of the Driftpile River Band Child Welfare program.

She is the author of two books on adoption and has a third book in the process of being published.
